Most of my outfits are monochromatic: black on black on black. This outfit is no exception. I love mixing and matching different black textures and adding different accents to brighten up an outfit. On this cool Miami afternoon, I ventured to the Design District to explore. The weather was in the 70s (Fahrenheit). If you live in Miami, you know that when the weather drops below 75 degrees, it’s the perfect excuse to whip out a sweater. So that’s what I did.
On the top half of my bod, I wore this super dope black hoodie from Pam & Gela with huge slits down each side (sadly, I can’t find a link anywhere). Although the weather wasn’t nearly as hot as it usually is in Miami, the sun still managed to break through and warm me up, so the slits were perfect for keeping my body temperature from overheating. My favorite part about the sweater is the silvery metallic stripes that go down the length of the arms. They truly add an element of surprise and difference.
For my jeans, I slid on some 7 For All Man Kind black ripped skinnies. These fit like a dream and are so incredibly comfortable. I often have a hard time finding the perfect jean, but these definitely make my cut.
On my feet, I laced up my favorite pair of shoes: the Stella McCartney Elyse Platforms. I am so guilty of loving these that I finally have another pair on its way to me in the mail! These are the perfect shoe for this outfit because the eye-catching silver of the shoe perfectly matches the silver details on the sweater. And despite the large platform, the shoes are so easy to walk in!
The Givenchy clutch in my hand has to be my all-time favorite bag at the moment. It’s small, yet fits so much! It’s quite fun to carry and its geometric shape is different and unique to the brand. Givenchy makes the wristlet in an array of colors; the baby pink is so cute!
