Best in Beauty and Lifestyle

I’m all about the little things. I love supplementing my life with lil self-care items that make my days a little brighter. These ten items are the current essentials that I’ve been using and loving regularly.

1.Mario Badescu Lip Balm

I’m a huge lip balm fanatic and have three other holy grail lip balms, but lately I’ve found myself reaching for this one the most. My lips get super dry in New York’s cold winter weather, so this lip balm helps remedy and prevent that. It’s super easy and convenient to apply, and the texture is hydrating and creamy.

2.Lululemon Uplifting Scrunchies

Scrunchies are in, ladies and gents. I’m a die hard scrunchie fan. Using regular hair elastics always give me headaches because of my super thick hair. These Lulu scrunchies are super cute and fluffy and keep my hair from creasing. I love wearing these on my wrist so I always have them handy when I want to pull my hair back. They add a really cute detail to my lil ponytails, and make me feel cuter and more put together while I’m at the gym.

3. Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel

I rarely ever wear makeup unless I’m going out or going to dinner, but I find myself putting a bit of this on even when I’m not wearing foundation or concealer. It’s super subtle yet effective, and gives the skin some warmth and dimension. It is a bit pricey, but it lasts forever and is well worth the money.

4. Epicuren Kukui Coconut After Bath

Best. Moisturizer. Ever. Before I got this lotion, I never moisturized my body. Now, I cringe at the idea of going lotion-less. The Epicuren After Bath not only smells super yummy, but it also sinks into the skin really quickly. Despite that, it leaves the skin really soft and moisturized until the next time I reapply it. Highly recommend this product, and it even comes in a cute lil mini size for travel!

5. Capri Blue Volcano Candle

Capri Blue’s Volcano is the best scent of all time. I always have this candle lit, and my apartment always smells so fresh and sweet. I would describe the scent as a combination of grapefruit juice and Skittles. Weird, I know, but it is such a great scent to fill up any space. It smells amazing, and it’s packaging is also really beautiful. It comes in several sizes and different containers!

6. Anthropologie Vanilla Perfume

If you want to smell good, you need this perfume. It’s incredibly cheap for it’s size, and it’s the perfect everyday scent. Before I had this perfume, I always found myself forgetting to spritz some one, but this perfume is so yummy smelling that I am always reaching for it as part of my daily routine. My boyfriend also loves it, so that’s an added bonus.

7. Kopari Coconut Oil Deodorant

It’s weird to be obsessed with a deodorant, but this one is so good! I’ve been on the hunt for a natural deodorant after all of the negative things I’ve read about regular deodorants, and Kopari’s Coconut Oil Deodorant is the only natural deodorant I’ve tried that actually works. It also doesn’t go on white so it won’t mark up clothes, and it leaves your underarms super smooth and moisturized.

8. Nailtiques Formula 2

Whenever my nails aren’t painted, I have this product on them. I’m constantly getting gel manicures and have a bad habit of picking them once they begin to chip. If you do that too, you need this product. It’s applied to clean nails everyday for a week and it completely strengthens and revives them.

9. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

If you have dry skin, Sunday Friday’s Jet Lag Mask is a must. New York’s brisk January air is not kind to my skin, but when I use this product, my skin has no choice but to be super soft and moisturized. I love using this as an overnight mask when I know I’m going to be wearing makeup the next day. The product makes any foundation I put on my skin look airbrushed and seamless. It’s also amazing for in-flight hydration.

10. Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil

Hair oil is a must for me. If I don’t use product in my hair after I wash it, my hair becomes way too frizzy and unmanageable. Gisou’s hair oil smells amazing, feels like honey, and makes my hair shine. I love using this on wet hair straight out of the shower or dry hair to revitalize my locks. Definitely a must if you love keeping your hair soft and shiny.

XO, Isa
